The goal of this unique event is to help you release, explore your journey as an expectant and new mother, whilst also connecting and bonding with your baby in a positive and relaxed circle of new friends.   

This circle will be facilitated by the renowned Barbara Harper - Water Birth & Gentle Birth expert and founder of Water Birth International, who will lead the circle as well as share her stories, experiences and offer her invaluable support and knowledge to all. {Read more about Barbara Harper further below}  

We will talk, share and comfort each other - no judgments, only support. Enjoy a relaxed candle-lit and cozy setting, away from the noise of our everyday lives. This is a wonderful space to take some time off for YOURSELF and focus on the things that really matter.

ABOUT BARBARA HARPER:  

Barbara Harper - RN, CLD, CCCE, Midwife, is a US childbirth and maternity reform activist, author, educator and internationally recognized expert on the use of warm water immersion for labor and birth.  

She has conducted workshops, professional certification and training programs (including UAE very own Mediclinic City Hospital, Al Zahra Hospital & Saudi German Hospital), lectures and conferences in 61 countries, within hospitals, medical schools, nursing schools, midwifery programs and university women’s studies departments, as well as community parent groups. She has been interviewed by hundreds of newspapers, magazines, radio and television shows, including CBS "The Doctors," to talk about her work with waterbirth and gentle birth.  

In 1988 she founded 'Waterbirth International' after researching water immersion as a gentle birth option for mother and child. Two of her three children were at home in water in 1984 and 1986. Her continuous global research and personal experience as a birthing mother and midwife are her primary motivations to expand the use of water during labor and birth.  

Her award winning book and DVD, Gentle Birth Choices, has influenced hundreds of thousands of parents and professionals and has been translated into nine languages.
